Read and Review

Maggie is a teenage beauty with a heart of gold. Luke is
misunderstood as a hoodlum, yet quickly shows anyone willing to
know him that he is true, loyal and honest. They both hide secrets
and shame from their past and their present that few would
understand, but the comfort they find in each other’s arms overcomes
their personal pain.
Maggie’s best friend, Jennifer, is at first repulsed by Jeremiah, a
typical rowdy, obnoxious teenage boy. But a relationship soon
blossoms between the two in a way that mirrors Luke and Maggie.
The book follows the paralleling relationships and takes the reader
through many peaks and valleys indicative of love and life as the
characters search for happiness and peace.
This is a story that could be enjoyed by all, but is best targeted at
the adolescent/young adult audience. It’s these readers who will most
likely relate best with the characters given that most of their depth
comes from their troubled childhood and inward desire for finding true
love.
While for the most part a fun and light read, there are some
valuable lessons found within. For one, our mistakes have a
profound effect on those around us, specifically our children, and we
also learn that there is nothing more rewarding than finding the one
soul meant for you. There are few teenagers and young adults who
could not benefit from such a moral. It’s a quick read that would be a
good addition to any beach vacation or lazy poolside summer
afternoon. Enjoy!

What readers have to say

"I was given a copy of your book as a gift. I wanted to let you know that I absolutely adored it! Typically, it's not really the genre I would read, I'm more of a fantasy fan with Robert Jordon's Wheel of Time or some such, but I have to admit your book captivated me with the love, faith and hope that ran through out it.

I have a few teenage nieces who are going to love reading it also, they, like me, are die hard romantics! They are at that stage in life that they are becoming interested in dating and all it entails, so I'm gonna pass on your book in the hopes that they remember they can have love and faith and not have to choose.

I got a lot from this book, and I know they will too...thank you for being an inspiration!"

“I truly enjoyed this story.  It touched a special part of my heart.  I found myself crying and then cheering each one of them on.  I can't decide which one is my favorite...I just love them all!! I can't wait till the next one comes out.”

“I am not a reader at all. I picked up the book to check it out. I wanted to make sure it would be okay for my twelve year old daughter to read. The next thing I knew I was so interested in what would happen next I couldn’t put it down!! It was like a good movie and I had to find out how it would end. What an amazing book! It was soooo good!”

"The story moves quickly and you will have a hard time putting this down. The characters go rapidly through the twists and turns of the story. Even though you think you know how things will end, the journey is the fun part. The message I got from the story is that there is hope and salvation in everyone, we just need someone to see it in us."

“I read your book and I loved it! It is one of my favorite books now!”

"I wanted to take a minute to write to you about the book. Let me start by saying that I was reading the book on PDF and I was having a hard time “putting it down.” I think it only took me two days, on and off, to finish. I thought it was amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed the story and your characters are enthralling. I know it takes a lot of discipline to become a great writer. Congratulations on publishing your first piece!!!

Not only do I feel the book is well written, I think it focuses on meaningful concepts and principles for teenage girls. I wish you the best in all that you do!"
